Apocalypse is not the end, and she wonders how the word came to mean that. Apocalypse—apocalips in her native tongue—is a revelation, lifting the veil.
Her apocalypse came in Pegasus’ CIC, when her veil—her mask of humanity—was lifted and she was revealed for what she was, a Cylon.
Though her apocalypse—her revelation—was her end. She went from lover to prisoner in that single moment.
And in that moment, she experienced another revelation. The Helena Cain she’d known—enthusiastic in her love—revealed herself to be just as passionate in hate.
Their apocalypse; their end.
